Fludrex is taken for cold and flu. It can also be used for other purposes such as drowsiness and headache. It contain paracetamol, chlorpheneramine and pseudoephdrine. Paracetamol may work peripherally to block pain impulse generation, may also inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in cns. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine of short duration of action with less sedative effect than other antihistamines. Pseudoephedrine Hcl to clear a stuffy nose.
