Betasept Mouthwash is a 130 mL liquid antiseptic solution containing Povidone-Iodine USP 1%. It is designed for the relief of infections and inflammations of the pharynx and mouth. This fast-acting, broad-spectrum antiseptic is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant organisms, as well as fungi, yeast, viruses, and protozoa. It can be used undiluted or diluted with an equal volume of lukewarm water every 2-4 hours, gargling for at least 30 seconds.
